(Yes, my name literally translates to “Ocean of Knowledge,” but let’s start with a decent-sized lake and work our way up.)

By day, I am a builder and a breaker of things. In official corporate speak, that means I’m a Security and Platform Engineer. In reality, it means I spend half my time crafting cloud infrastructure, and the other half trying to find the one loose thread that brings it all crashing down. If you want to build a highly scalable, rock-solid platform, I’m your guy. If you want to know exactly how someone could break into it, I’m also your guy.

I’ve spent the last five years in the high-stakes world of Fintech. During this time, I’ve secured massive infrastructures, streamlined platform engineering, and ensured that financial systems don’t become expensive playgrounds for malicious actors.

What do I do? (Professional Side)

I like to think of myself as a digital architect with a healthy dose of paranoia. My technical sandbox includes:

• Cloud Engineering & Security (AWS): Moving fast in the cloud is great, but moving fast without leaving the front door open is better. AWS is my primary playground.
• Platform Engineering: Building the underlying systems that make shipping code smooth, scalable, and resilient.
• Application Security & DevSecOps: Automating security checks into the development pipeline so developers don’t hate me, and attackers don’t get in.
• AI Security: Because as AI gets smarter, the ways people try to break it get a whole lot weirder.
• My Favorite Languages: I write a lot of Golang and Rust, because life is too short for slow code and memory leaks.

What I Do When the Screen is Turned Off

When I am not auditing code or setting up cloud architectures, I try to engage the parts of my brain that don’t involve a keyboard:

• Reading Books: Turning actual physical pages (or electronic ones) to learn about everything from history to fiction.
• Sudoku Puzzles: Because apparently, debugging code all day isn’t enough logical torture; I need to do it with numbers in boxes, too.
• Drawing: A creative outlet where the undo button doesn’t exist, and the only “bugs” are the ones I intentionally sketch.
